Enjoyable book about Cape Horn. I liked that it covered the subject from a variety of angles: a trip to Cape Horn, what makes it so tough, its place in sailing lore, the natives who once lived there, the Age of Exploration, meteorological tidbits, etc. History, science, culture all reflected in one remote part of the world.
Thumbs up.
Minor complaint: a few more maps and some photographs wouldn't go amiss.
