Better than average comedy with a massively creative premise. I spend most of the movie laughing but could live without a handful of the musical numbers.

Jim Carrey, who usually bothers the shit out of me, is fairly restrained, probably owing to the fact that he's not the star. Jeff Goldblum is perfect but he acts like an alien all the time.

In the end, I'm happy to watch this more than once. It's an original concept that I still have a place for in my heart.
