Chris Auzins earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Florida. After graduation he continued research with the Florida Anesthesiology/Computer Engineering Team. He then joined Microsoft in the nascent Windows Media group as a tester working on client and networking issues. After a few years there, he joined Fullplay Media as the lead test engineer, where he led a small team in developing multimedia devices for handheld, kiosk, and stereo component markets. Chris lives and works in Seattle, Washington. |

Tom Brown, since moving to Austin, Texas, has developed security software for WholeSecurity, Yodlee.com, BiometricAccess and the American Cancer Society. Prior, he developed a high-volume gathering engine for Yodlee and developed video streaming network components for Microsoft and Vxtreme (acquired by MSFT) with a focus on bandwidth adaptation and measurement. Brown's first gig was administering Unix networks and deployment strategy for the Defense division of Texas Instruments and received both his M.Sc. as a multimedia networking research assistant and bachelors in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University. |
